Corona Virus in Costa Rica (COVID-19)

Costa Rica borders are open

Costa Rica borders are open to US Passport holders after COVID-19. I'm crying tears of joy because my family can visit again. And if I needed to return to the U.S. I would be allowed to come back. Less than a dozen US states were told that they can start traveling to Costa Rica on September 1, 2020, after the country closed its borders on March 18, 2020, due to COVID-19.

US states allowed in Costa Rica after COVID-19

Starting on September 1, 2020, the following states will be allowed to enter: New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. These states made the first cut.
