Best “how to” guide yet!!!!!

The Pages have put together a great up to date experiential guide to relocating to Costa Rica. I have lived here for over 23 years and this book has all the information that I would love to share with newcomers. It’s well informed and comprehensive as well as a fun read. They cover all the major aspects of daily life whether you are planning on being here for just a month to a lifetime. I am so glad they took the time to compile and share this great local info. It will help anyone who is considering the move and will definitely ease the challenges of transition. I loved reading their book and will share it with friends as well as use it as a resource for myself. This is a must buy. (Reviewed on Amazon.com)

This book is awesome!

If you’re moving to CR, especially anywhere in the Guanacaste region, this is the perfect book. It’s an easy read, has tons of super useful information, but isn’t so long that you’ll never finish it. Trying to navigate the banking system? Thinking of renting or buying? Wondering if you need to be fluent in Spanish? Do you need insurance? Want to know about residency, how to do proper “border runs”, which is the best local school for your child….. all mixed in with great anecdotes? Cut the Crap makes an excellent read on the airplane and is the perfect book or gift for anyone who’s ever considered moving to Costa Rica. Two thumbs up – don’t miss this book! Great book and very informative!

I bought this book before taking a trip down to Costa Rica because if I move or don’t move there is a lot of very helpful information on how the country works and local options. We tried out the food suggestion and got pineapple pie at Nogui’s and that was simply amazing. Also as a side note I am actually writing this review from Tamarindo, Costa Rica. My favorite part of the book is when they are trying to out run a forest fire while leaking gasoline out of their vehicle. (Also Reviewed on Amazon.com)
