
Black Beans with Thyme – Electric Pressure Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 cup Black Beans
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 1 Clove of garlic
Instructions
Preparation
- Measure out the beans and rinse of debris, then add to the pot.
Cook
- Add the water and all remaining spices to the pot. Secure the lid and set to the "Beans" setting.
- Mince garlic add to pot.
- When the timer goes off release the pressure. If you want softer beans, allow the black beans to sit under presser for an additional 5-8 minutes.
- Once the pressure is released, drain any excess water.
- Serve and enjoy.
