Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Red Beans
- 1/2 cup Black Beans
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder (You can also substitute Cumin)
- 1/2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro minced (7-10 sprigs)
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 4 cup Water
Preparation
Measure out the beans and rinse of debris, then add to the pot.
Mince the garlic and cilantro, then add to the pot.
Add the water and all the remaining spices to the pot.
Cook
Secure the lid and set to the "Beans" setting.
When the timer goes off release the pressure. If you want softer beans, allow the beans to set under presser for an additional 5-8 minutes.
Once the pressure is released, drain any excess water.
Serve and enjoy.
