  • 1 cup Red Beans
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cumin (or Chili Powder)
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro minced (7-10 sprigs)
  • Clove Garlic
  • 3 cup Water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the red beans of debris.
  • Mince the garlic and cilantro.

Cook

  • Place the beans, spices, and water in an Instant pot and set to the "Beans" setting.
  • When the timer goes off, release the pressure. If you want softer beans, allow the beans to set under presser for an additional 5-8 minutes.
  • Drain excess water and serve.
