
Chile Lime Chayote - Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 2 Chayote
- 1 tbsp Cumin (or Chili Powder)
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Rosemary
- 1/2 Lime (Limon Mandarina)

Preparation
- Peel the chayote. Slice the chayote in half down the crease and remove the seed with a spoon. Cut chayote again to make 1/4 or 1/8 sections, as desired.
- Place the chayote in a large bowl. Cut the lime in half and squeeze one piece over the chayote pieces.
- Sprinkle the seasonings over top of the chayote in the large bowl.
- Gently toss the chayote in the seasoning bowl to cover it.
- Place the chayote pieces in the instant pot.
Cook
- Place the lid on the cooker and start it on the "Vegetable" or "Steam" setting, depending on your model.
- When the timer goes off, release pressure, remove the lid and serve.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
