Red & Black Beans

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Red Beans
- 1/2 cup Black Beans
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder (You can also substitute Cumin)
- 1/2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro minced (7-10 sprigs)
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 4 cup Water
Preparation
- Measure out the beans and rinse of debris, then add to the pot.
- Mince the garlic and cilantro, then add to the pot.
- Add the water and all the remaining spices to the pot.
Cook
- Secure the lid and set to the “Beans” setting.
- When the timer goes off release the pressure. If you want softer beans, allow the beans to set under presser for an additional 5-8 minutes.
- Once the pressure is released, drain any excess water.
- Serve and enjoy.
